TradeIX has been invited to present at the internationally renowned business school, INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. The Financial Times ranked it first across MBA programs in 2016 and 2017, and second in 2018.

Daniel Cotti from TradeIX will present at the event: “Modern Governance in Banking – A Modular Programme” on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Through this program, INSEAD supports executives, directors and board members of banks focussing on how to execute effective governance in current digital age. The program also allows the bank participants to exchange valuable information on their governance best practices. Board members and directors in banking, senior bank executives, auditors and legal counsels as well as regulators and supervisors will participate in the session.

The session from Daniel Cotti: “Disruption in Banking” will share what bank leaders are doing to tackle the industry challenges, including the efficiency and cost issues. He will further explain the existing bank model supported by proven technology and the limitations of it and introduce blockchain, API’s and cloud technologies in the financial services industry.

In a second part, the presentation will highlight the concept of a distributed platform and how emerging technologies can be leveraged. Trade finance will be used as an example to rethink the underlying infrastructure and delivery of the service. Three showcases will be presented: Marco Polo, Trade as a Platform for a bank, ecosystems in Trade Finance including ERP and other third party service providers.
